Dr Ndileka Mbete

Founder and Managing Director
Dr. Ndileka Mbete is a dedicated healthcare professional with 24+ years’ experience advancing patient‑centered care. She earned an MBChB from the University of Natal (2001), practiced as a GP (2005–2013), and furthered her education in 2019 with an MBA at Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria-). Since 2019 she has led maternity and broader value‑based healthcare programme design and implementation across South and East Africa. She brings expertise in programme and service design, product pricing, alternative reimbursement models, and provider engagement, capacity building and incentive structuring.

Pierre holds an MBA in Healthcare Leadership from Stellenbosch University, where his research focused on South African health professionals’ perceptions of Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) alongside global case studies. He previously served as Head of Data Science at Momentum Health Solutions and later as CEO of a strategic venture within the organisation, leading healthcare analytics and innovation initiatives. He has also consulted for PPO Serve on the development of their primary care VBHC model. This blend of academic insight, executive leadership, and hands-on implementation enables him to design and scale practical, high-impact VBHC strategies for South African medical schemes and healthcare organisations.
